NA 176 deep sea habitats of the cook islands
Systematic observations of deep-sea life on different seabed features
This research cruise is a partnership between SBMA, Ocean Exploration Trust and the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration.
The primary objective of NA176 is to survey seabed megafauna using a remotely operated vehicle, to help quantify the distribution, diversity, and density of benthic megafauna, substrate types, and environmental conditions.
